I think she's looking relaxed and even slightly seductive, as she leans into the table and hold the wine glass closer to her bossom.

The other model off the street is fantastic. She is a nontraditional subject model, yet so beautiful and vibrant. Excellent painting. If I were her I'd buy it right off!del Carmenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16345314019208671068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7504038576279241872.post-18695923858610485382012-05-15T02:11:13.905-04:002012-05-15T02:11:13.905-04:00Lovely paintings!

In fact the first thing I said to the artist next to me during our first drawing break was "why are you painting her face? You still have composition problems to work out" (I really wasn't that abrupt...but you know what I mean!) To me, in my work and when I teach, the most important thing is to see the big picture - details should be at the very end.Krystyna81https://www.blogger.com/profile/15511024163507167473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7504038576279241872.post-4442565259023168792012-05-11T09:57:42.175-04:002012-05-11T09:57:42.175-04:00Your work is fantastic! I notice that you don't get caught up in drawing the details of faces an instead focus on the "scene as a whole"... do you have any advice when it comes to know what's ok to leave out and not loose the feel of the picture. I'd love to get to that stage!Vanessahttp://vanessaturner.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7504038576279241872.post-43371139140288515772012-05-11T07:04:49.413-04:002012-05-11T07:04:49.413-04:00The lady in the blue chair...she is fabulous!
