Metro Montage Poster from the MCMA

I mentioned before that I got one piece into this year's Metro Montage Juried Art Show at the Marrieta-Cobb Museum of Art. I just got another nice surprise when I saw that my pastel drawing of the nude male, "Mike Drawing in the Sand", was included on the poster! I am very honored to be among such gorgeous pieces of art.

Congratulations , Krystina!
Looking at the poster my eye traveled to yours and then the African American woman with the baby. I may be a tad swayed since I recognize your work now when I travel the internet!! Do you know who did the other painting? My daughter and son-in-law adopted a black baby last October. 20 minutes after he was born!! He's beautiful!!! We have started to collect books and other things to teach him his heritage. We want him to be very aware and proud of his backround and not be confused because he is being raised by a white family. He's so cute !! Okay, I'll calm down now. Have a great weekend !! Pegi

Hello my dear! Congrats on the addition to your family - how very exciting! I do not know all of the artists/art on the card, but i will make a special note of it when I go to the opening next Saturday :)
